No one is more disappointed than I about leaving my beloved position at Calvary UCC. I thought I had a few more good years of pastoral ministry, but as things would be, I ran out of gas this past year and a half. I will probably be relegated to part time ministry somewhere where I can regenerate and heal from mental and physical fatigue.
Calvary will always hold a special place in my heart. Over the years I have grown close to so many wonderful people who have embraced Faith and me as part of the Calvary family. My prayer is that you will all bind together to advance the good work in Crestline and take the church into the future with a quality minister.
This weekend, I am resting at Bethany College in West Virginia. This is a special place for me, so I will absorb the scenery, the peaceful surroundings and the academic setting for a well needed renewal.
There will be more blogs coming, so in the meantime, keep your faith strong and your hopes high. May we someday meet again along this journey of life. Peace and love to EVERYONE!
