My heart is saddened by the events in Brussels that transpired yesterday. It's hard to conceive why people would resort to such hateful violence for their cause. Hundreds of lives have been changed in an instant for the rest of their lives. May the world taste the unconditional love and mercy of God in their lives. Amen.
This Lenten season has reveal some interesting things about my life. My emotions have gone all the way from euphoric elation to a "dark night of the soul." I believe Lent can be a time of deep reflection and self understanding. I believe there is something life changing that is happening at Calvary. Let us keep in prayer to unveil what God is doing among us. We await the great Resurrection morning.
It's been awhile since my last blog as much has gone on since then. The church program is blossoming and new things are happening around the church. The Sunday School is going through some changes as well as the church facilities.
Right now we are in the middle of Lent with Holy Week coming fast. The schedule is as follows: Palm Sunday March 20 Maundy Thursday March 24 at 7 pm |
