Here is a picture of four generations all started by Janet Strauch. Pictured here are Ann Coward, LeAnn Young , and the newest edition, Baby Owen.
Our own Tiffiny Ellenberger has graduated from nursing college (see article in the Compass). She has been employed the last 6 years at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus and her plan is to be a pediatric trauma nurse working on the burn/trauma unit. We are so very proud of Tiffiny and her accomplishments these past few years.
Just a reminder that come June 1, the worship time starts at 9:00. Sunday School for the children will be after the children's sermon each week.
Check your church calendar for summer activities. June 8 is Pentecost Sunday. Be sure to wear something red. June 22 is outdoor worship in the pavilion and a picnic is to follow at Kelly Park. On Father's Day June 15th, we will host "Hawaiian Shirt Day." Vacation Bible School begins on July 6 at 6:00. It will be quite a summer at Calvary. Don't miss it!
We had another record attendance on May 4th. We are seeing inactive folk coming back to church. I am hoping we will see over 100 on a regular Sunday by the end of the summer.
But I need your help. If you are looking for more members and friends attending, invite them out to be your guest next Sunday. The goal is set. Let's see God do wondrous things at Calvary.
